Tropical Color

Loved the color of this flower in Southern Mexico!  The leaves were the same color as a lime, which really complimented the bright orange of the blossom itself.

River

Going through some of the photos that I took this past fall, I found a few that I hadn't worked with yet. I always love the river that time of the year.  The water is a little more gentle, and I love the colors and lighting of Autumn.

I had a few people ask me what camera I took the photos from Haiti with? I usually am never without my nikon D300, at times I think it's permanately attached! But my trip to Haiti was a service trip. Even though the photo opportunities were awesome, that wasn't my priority. Because of luggage limitations, I decided to just take a small cannon point and shoot camera with me. I have to say, for a point and shoot, I was quite impressed. It was also nice to be able to shoot some video of the trip with it also. I certainly did not need my big fancy camera to capture the smiles of the children, and the beautiful people of Haiti. And to all of you who sent donations with us, God bless you, and thankyou so much!
