This is one of my favorite hikes in Zions National Park.  There isn't as much water in the falls, but the colors of autumn are amazing!

Thoughts of Spring

With all of the new snow, it's hard to even imagine that spring is just around the corner.  This photograph was taken very early last spring. It is one of my favorites because I was able to capture all of the elements of spring in one photograph.  The late winter storm that left a dusting of snow on the top of the mountains.  The bright green of the spring grass, the light pink apple blossoms and the sunny yellow flowers on the side hill. 

Arches National Park

This was one of my favorite images from Arches National Park. It's not a place that is popular and frequently photographed, but I think it is just as beautiful.

Ice

This ice was formed by falling water, which allowed the sunlight to shine through the ice on the left side. I thought that the different colors, textures and light, made an interesting abstract photograph.

Windriver Mountains in Wyoming

These photographs are taken in the Cirque of the Towers area from the Big Sandy entrance. One of my favorite places, in fact probably tops my list as one of the most beautiful places that I have ever been!
