SMOKE

I took these photographs of smoke from an incense stick.  It was all natural lighting.  Just the smoke in the sunlight coming through the window, painting beautiful patterns.



Crocus

Just when you think that spring is never going to find it's way here, the colorful Crocus push their way to the surface.  One of springs first flowers to bloom, they sometimes even push right up through the snow, to remind us that spring really is on the way!

I loved the contrast between the colors of the canyon wall and the bright green of the moss and pine tree.

As the evening sunlight cast a warm glow on the bouquet of roses in my window, I noticed that the petals almost looked like the flames of a fire.

Capital Reef Utah

I posted photographs from this trip to Capital Reef previously, but decided to add a few more.  The landscape here seemed to change around every corner, from the interesting water pockets,  red rock formations, lush riverbeds and apple orchards, to an almost barren moonscape.
