I was commissioned by a sculptor who is currently lecturing about his work with 'The Bristlecone Pine Tree'. My assignment; to document the subject matter of his work.  What an amazing tree...what a fun adventure!  I LOVE my job!

Slot Canyons

One of my favorite places to explore in southern Utah are the slot canyons.  These dramatic landscapes are amazing to see, and make beautiful photographs.  The colors and textures of the rock, carved out by rushing flood waters, are one of mother natures spectacular masterpieces.

My camera bag.  It's as unique as me :)   To the little treasures that adorn it, the places we've traveled, to the memories and photographs made, AND to the many more yet to come!

I took a few photos of my handsome hubby today before he shaved the beard.  The police officers did a fundraiser for CAPSA, and got to grow one for awhile.  It has to be gone before shift in the morning, so I talked him into letting me snap a few.
