The Road Less Traveled

There is something about the wide open, big sky country of Wyoming and a dirt road, that calls my name quite often.  There is so much beauty in a place that would seemingly be "nothing but sagebrush."  And room to be alone and breathe?  Plenty of it!  Now the only decision is, which road should I take?

An approaching storm.

This Pronghorn Antelope was laying in the sagebrush, waiting out the afternoon rain when I found him.  He stood up, but was curious enough to hang around for a few photographs before running over the hill.  Lucky for me!

I noticed how beautiful and healthy he was, but it looked like he had a run in with a fence across the front of his neck.
